Foundation Chairman Honoured for Services to the Equine Industry

The ONZM (Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit) was awarded to Brian Goulden, Chairman of the New Zealand Equine Research Foundation since 1988, in the recently published Queen's Birthday Honours List. Brian's skills as a clinician, teacher, research worker and contributor to the development of all associated with the horse have been widely acclaimed; his initiative and drive in leading the New Zealand Equine Research Foundation (of which this Bulletin is but a small example) into an organization that is held in high regard throughout Australasia is testimony to his administrative abilities. His professionalism, vision and tireless work for the equine industry has been noted and respected - this indeed is an award well earned.
